About

Motivated undergraduate physics student at Tri-Chandra Multiple Campus (Tribhuvan University) with a strong foundation in physics, mathematics, and computer science. I blend experimental rigor with data-driven engineering to build lightning and plasma research tools, climate-tech storytelling products, and educational resources for student researchers.

I lead the Tri-Chandra Research Group and founded the Nepalese Society of Student Researchers, fostering a national network that champions open research culture, reproducibility, and hands-on scientific communication.

Lightning Research Lab

Tri-Chandra Multiple Campus

Jun 2024 – Present

Ghantaghar, Kathmandu

  • Operate EFM100C, LD350 lightning detection systems, Picoscope, AMR sensors, and antennas for electric field measurements.
  • Analyze lightning waveforms to extract pulse features (amplitude, rise time, FWHM, fall time) and denoise transient signals.
  • Process WWLLN, ENTLN, and satellite datasets to derive stroke density, polarity distribution, and temporal lightning patterns.
  • Build Python tools for descriptive statistics of lightning pulses and event characterization.

Plasma Physics Lab

Khwopa College of Engineering

Jul 2024 – Present

Libali, Bhaktapur

  • Conduct electrical and optical characterization of atmospheric non-thermal plasmas using oscilloscopes and HV supplies.
  • Design and test plasma devices for ozone generation, surface treatment, and application-driven experiments.
  • Measure plasma parameters including discharge current, voltage waveforms, and optical emission spectra.
